When I started writing this post, I wrote Dine Out’s back, and all I could hear was that Backstreet song from the 90’s. You know the one…
Rock your body
Rock your body right
Dine Out’s back, alright
Hey, hey, yeah, well
Oh my God, it’s back again
Brothers, sisters, everybody sing
Gonna bring the flavor, show you how…
OK, so maybe I’ve mixed that up a little, but I’m excited, Dine Out’s Back!
That’s right, Vancouver’s preeminent dining festival put on by Tourism Vancouver, is back for another year. If you’re reading this then you probably already know what Dine Out Vancouver is, and you can just skip ahead to the menu. For those who aren’t familiar with this event, here’s the breakdown.
Dine Out Vancouver is a dining festival with dozens of local restaurants participating by offering a 3-course menu at varying price points. Many of the menus also offer a wine pairing – usually using BC VQA wines.
Here at Provence, Chef Jean-Francis takes the opportunity DOV brings to showcase some of his favourite dishes from our regular menu, and give you a sneak peak of some things that may make it on to our next menu.
Not to be outdone, Wine Director Joshua Carlson has teamed up with a number of BC wineries to create a distinctly local wine pairing to complement each dish on our menu.
