The 7th annual From Farm to Forks held by Growing Chefs! on Sunday October 2nd, is a culinary event featuring more than 15 of Vancouver’s most prominent Chefs and Mixologists collaborating with BC’s best growers and producers to offer local wine and beer pairings, cocktails and tastings.
Chef Sheldon joined Growing Chefs!, after he graduated from the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts in 2001. Since joining Growing Chefs!, Sheldon has worked with elementary school children to help them learn the importance of healthy and sustainable food practices. Through Growing Chefs!, children learn about growing their own vegetables and cooking their own food.
Please join Chef Sheldon at From Farm to Forks and try his Panisse with a basil goat cheese stuffed gem tomato as well as dishes from other local chefs. This is an excellent opportunity to sample food from some of the best chefs in Vancouver while supporting and encouraging kids to eat healthy and respect the environment.
